Arriving at school on time is important; please see school start times below!

Kindergarten - Grade 6:         8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Grades 7-8:                                     8:00 a.m. - 2:35 p.m.

Students arriving at school between 7:45-7:55 will be permitted to enter the building and go to the cafeteria before going to their classrooms at 7:55.

*Kindergarten and Grade 1 students will be entering and exiting the building from the door at the rear of the school, next to the playground.

*Grades 2, 3, and 4 students will be entering and exiting the building from the inside entrance on Concannon Court

*Grades 5 6, 7, and 8 students will be entering and exiting the building from the entrance on Sylvan Street.

Teacher Assignment letters will be sent home through the mail on August 5. If you do not receive your letter by August 10, please don't hesitate to check Aspen or call the main office (781) 397-7326 to check in and find out!

Kindergarten Orientation is scheduled for August 27 at 9:00 a.m. for Kindergarten students and their families. This will be an opportunity to meet teachers, sign-up for a screening appointment, and learn more about what to expect in the year beyond.

Every student in Malden Public Schools is provided with a free breakfast and lunch on full school days - no paperwork needed. Breakfast is provided to students as they walk into the building or directly in their classroom. Each month, you may view the breakfast and lunch menus for our schools at the link below. Be sure to bookmark the page and check at the start of each monthe to view the new menu.

Update Contact Information

New email? Changed your phone number? Be sure to contact the office and provide new contact information to keep records up to date.

Check Caregiver Portal Access

The Aspen Caregiver Portal is how Malden provides family access to student performance information, report cards, and progress reports. Be sure you can access your account by following directions here. If you cannot access your account, be sure to contact your school.

Contact the Forestdale PTO (Parent & Teacher Organization) on their Facebook page to see how you can help plan events, fundraisers, and help make school a fund and memorable experience for your student.

Registration is now open for next year’s before and after school programming provided by AlphaBEST at Beebe, Forestdale, Linden, and Salemwood for incoming students in grades K-8!
